Established in June 2019 by CAPA – Centre for Aviation, CTC – the Corporate Travel Community – is a network of corporate travel buyers and other personnel who manage their organisation’s travel portfolios. CTC is part of Informa, whose Informa Markets division runs hundreds of events and trade shows around the world under more than 550 B2B brands. This allows CTC to uniquely connect with travel buyers and travel managers beyond the reach of traditional corporate travel industry associations.
CTC’s mission is simple: to help corporate travel buyers progress in their roles and careers, by providing them with information, data and networking opportunities. The CTC – Corporate Travel Community meets regularly for training, social events, seminars and summits across Asia’s major business centres.
Biography – Dr. Benson Tang, Executive Director, Corporate Travel Community:
Benson’s remarkable career in travel started more than 25 years ago.
For over a decade he oversaw Goldman Sachs’ Asian travel program as Executive Director, before being appointed Regional Director Asia for the Association of Corporate Travel Executives (ACTE). Benson joined the Corporate Travel Community in April 2019
His extensive knowledge of the corporate travel sector has made him a sought-after speaker, lecturer and thought leader in the Asia-Pacific region.
Benson has a vast network of industry contacts and is passionate about knowledge sharing and best practice.
He thrives on the creation of innovative tools and solutions that enable peers and stakeholders to excel in their roles.
Biography – Catherine Craig, Global Head of Corporate Travel Relations, Corporate Travel Community:
Catherine has 30 years of industry experience specializing in business travel and managed travel programs in senior positions spanning Airline, TMCs & Business Consultancy.
Starting her career with Qantas across several business verticals including Sales & Marketing and Customer Relations, Catherine transitioned through to operational roles including Global Delay Management & Customer Advocacy before moving into senior roles with TMCs, Ground Mobility and Business Consulting.
Catherine’s work as Managing Partner with GoldSpring Consulting Asia Pacific has been successful and rewarding, providing independent business travel advice and travel management program services for multi-national and regional corporations.
As Global Head of Corporate Travel Relations with the Corporate Travel Community, Catherine is strategically focused to deliver mutually beneficial outcomes for both Corporate Travel Buyers and the Industry Supply Chain.
