Aena selected (05-Oct-2021) Leonardo to upgrade the baggage handling systems at the following airports:
- Santa Cruz de La Palma Airport;
- Santiago de Compostela Airport;
- Valencia Manises Airport;
- Asturias Airport;
- Bilbao Airport;
- Jerez Airport;
- Reus Airport;
- Lanzarote Airport;
- Murcia Corvera International Airport;
- Seville Airport.
The project includes replacement of baggage transport components and installation of European Civil Aviation Conference (ECAC) Standard 3 approved security technology, including X-ray and Computed Tomography (CT) scanners.
