Aeroporti di Roma and Alitalia launched (05-Jan-2021) trials for the use of digital COVID-19 antigenic certificates on services from Rome Fiumicio to New York, operated by Alitalia. Passengers will be able to present a digital certificate of a negative antigen test via the AOKpass app, which has been developed in partnership with the International Chamber of Commerce. AdR also noted that with the progress of vaccinations, there may soon also be the opportunity to show a vaccination certificate in order to board safely and without incurring entry limitations.
