AF-KLM ASKs expected to reach 40% of 2019 levels over 1Q2021, anticipates summer 2021 ramp up

18 February, 2021

Air France-KLM reported (18-Feb-2021) it has "limited visibility" on the demand recovery curve as customer booking behaviour is much more short term oriented and also highly dependent on travel restrictions for both long haul and medium haul networks. Capacity in ASKs is expected to be around 40% of 2019 levels for Air France-KLM in 1Q2021. The group stated that it aims to progressively ramp up capacity towards summer 2021 and expects recovery in 2Q/3Q2021 as the vaccine rollout continues. [more - original PR]
