Air New Zealand launched (13-Sep-2021) its Kia Rere app, created by Air New Zealand in partnership with NZ Māori Tourism and produced by Kiwa Digital. The app has been available for staff to practice and improve their Māori language skills, and has a range of interactive features. Air New Zealand cultural development manager Henare Johnson said the app is a culmination of many people's work to help te reo beginners feel confident with pronunciation and expand their Māori language vocabulary.
