Air New Zealand marks busiest day since coronavirus

Air New Zealand stated (23-Apr-2021) 23-Apr-2021 "is shaping up to be the biggest flying day" since New Zealand closed its borders due to the coronavirus pandemic. Air New Zealand GM customer Leeanne Langridge said around 42,000 customers will be travelling on nearly 520 Air New Zealand flights. Auckland-Wellington is looking to be the busiest route for the airline, with approximately 5500 customers travelling, while the Auckland-Sydney service will be the busiest trans-Tasman route.
