Air New Zealand CEO Christopher Luxon said the carrier is "more than open" to partnering with New Zealand regional airlines in order to operate smaller domestic sectors, and the carrier has been talking to other carriers and "thinking about how we can actually do that" (TVNZ, 26-Nov-2018). Mr Luxon noted that the carrier is working with regional airlines on requirements such as IT systems to alow them to cooperate.
