Air New Zealand to draw down further on Crown standby loan facility

4 August, 2021

Air New Zealand stated (04-Aug-2021) operating cash flow has reduced as a consequence of a suspension of the quarantine free trans-Tasman bubble. The reduction, in addition to planned cash payments related to aircraft, means the airline expects to draw down further on the Crown standby loan facility before the end of Aug-2021. Air New Zealand's cashflow remains positive due to continued domestic operational performance, and the revenue contribution from the New Zealand Government's Maintaining International Air Connectivity scheme, which is in place until Oct-2021.
