Air Niugini to offer full Port Moresby-Sydney service

Air Niugini, via its official Facebook account, announced (18-Oct-2021) it fully opened PX001 Port Moresby-Sydney service for sale from 01-Nov-2021, due to quarantine free travel commencing in New South Wales. Additional frequencies will depend on demand for the service. Air Niugini also requested confirmation that Australia will recognise Papua New Guinea's "green card" vaccination certificate. The service is limited to Australian citizens, permanent residents and special visa holders, and only fully vaccinated passengers will be approved for uplift on PX001. Unvaccinated Australian citizens and permanent residents can return to Australia on PX003 to Brisbane, but will require 14 days hotel quarantine on arrival.
