Air Serbia reports growth in direct sales in 1H2021, led by online channels

    Air Serbia reported (19-Jul-2021) direct sales channels, including its website, mobile app, contact centre and retail shops, accounted for 53% of tickets purchased in 1H2021. Online sales accounted for 44% of the total and grew from 40% in Jan-2021 to 50% in May/Jun-2021. The airline attributed the growth to improvements to its website and app. The carrier reported the number of registered accounts on its e-commerce channels in 1H2021 increased 224% year-on-year and 111% compared to 1H2019.
