Air Transat resumes commercial operations after six months

Air Transat resumed (31-Jul-2021) commercial operations on 31-Jul-2021 after six months of inactivity due to COVID travel restrictions. The carrier will operate Montreal-Punta Cana and Montreal-Vancouver services before expanding to 24 routes and 16 destinations. From Montreal, it will gradually operate nonstop flights to Cuba, the Dominican Republic, France, Haiti, Mexico, Portugal and the US. From Toronto it will operate to Cuba, the Dominican Republic, the UK, Mexico, Portugal and the US. It will also launch Quebec City-Fort Lauderdale service. [more - original PR]
