Air Vanuatu to take delivery of first A220 in Jun-2020, engines installed will meet all standards

    Air Vanuatu reiterated (30-Oct-2019) plans to take delivery of its first A220 aircraft in Jun-2020, stating engine manufacturer Pratt & Whitney has committed to ensuring engines installed on the first aircraft will meet all the airworthiness standards. Air Vanuatu CEO Derek Nice reported the carrier will benefit from full warranty coverage on the engines when it takes delivery and Pratt & Whitney has expressed its commitment to support safe and reliable operations of the A220 in Air Vanuatu service.
