AirAsia announced (14-Sep-2021) plans to resume services to Langkawi from the following destinations from 16-Sep-2021, once the region opens under a travel bubble scheme:
- Kuala Lumpur: 63 times weekly;
- Penang: 14 times weekly'
- Johor Bahru: Daily;
- Ipoh: Three times weekly;
- Kota Bharu: Three times weekly.
The carrier plans to add more routes and frequencies once travel demand increases and more leisure destinations reopen.
