AirBridgeCargo Airlines expects increase in e-commerce handling

AirBridgeCargo Airlines general director Sergey Lazarev confirmed (27-Jun-2018) the airline commenced twice weekly service to Budapest Ferenc Liszt International Airport with Boeing 747F aircraft, offering up to 139 tonnes of capacity. Mr Lazarev noted Budapest Airport "has been expanding at a fast clip, upgrading its facilities, infrastructure and solutions for freighter carriers and following cargo friendly strategy". He added that AirBridgeCargo expects to see increased e-commerce handling due to "swelling demand for internet purchases among European customers". [more - original PR]
