Airbus CEO Tom Enders said he is "still optimistic" that negotiations between the UK and the EU can avoid a 'No Deal' style Brexit before the 29-Mar-2019 departure date (Fox Business, 14-Feb-2019). Mr Enders said the "forces of reason will finally prevail". Airbus employs more than 14,000 workers in the UK, with its sites at Filton and Broughton designing, testing and manufacturing the wings for all Airbus commercial aircraft.
