Airbus CEO Guillaume Faury reported global travel is already seeing a recovery but it is "unlikely" that business travel will return to pre-pandemic levels for "many years" (Reuters, 14-Sep-2021). Mr Faury also commented that firms are reducing business travel as part of their efforts to cut emissions, and "a lot" of business seats are now occupied by leisure and VFR travellers, rather than business travellers.
