El Al's operations are currently complemented by Up! its low-cost carrier brand which commenced operations in Mar-2014. The carrier has a two product offering with economy and premium economy seating, as well as two fare classes, UP Basic and UP Smart but is expected to be amalgamated back into its parent company in Oct-2018.
