Alaska Airlines expecting to fly 80% of 2019 capacity levels by summer 2021

Alaska Airlines president Ben Minicucci reported the carrier plans to fly approximately 80% of 2019 capacity levels by summer 2021 (Simple Flying, 26-Jan-2021). Mr Minicucci added Alaska intends to fly around 70% of 2019 capacity levels in 1Q2021 and expects a passenger load factor of between 40% and 45%. He said: "It is prudent for our business and our operation to scale to those levels in a measured way".
