All Nippon Airways (ANA) said that forward bookings for services departing China declined 60% year-on-year for Feb-2020 due to the coronavirus outbreak (Reuters/Jiji Press, 30-Jan-2020). Bookings from Japan to China declined by 40%. EVP Ichiro Fukuzawa said that the "concern is of the impact that the situation could have on China's economy and the knock on that will have on things like air cargo". China accounts for around 10% of ANA's passengers services, according to Mr Fukuzawa.
