American Airlines adds App Clips and widgets to mobile app

American Airlines announced (23-Sep-2020) the integration of App Clips and widgets to its mobile app, which will be immediately available for customers who have the latest iOS downloaded on their mobile devices. The addition of App Clips will allow customers to check in on their mobile device, even without the American Airlines app, and widgets will give customers access to the latest flight notifications as a tile on their home screen.
