  • Nok Air shareholders approved the appointment of Prasert Bunsumpun as independent director and board chairman.
  • Cathay Pacific Group chief customer and commercial officer Ronald Lam, via Cathay Pacific Cargo's official newsletter, announced the appointment of Tom Owen as director cargo, effective Sep-2020.
  • Vietnam Airlines board appointed Dinh Van Tuan as CEO of Pacific Airlines, replacing Nguyen Thuong Hoang Hai in the role.
  • Qantas announced a reduction to its group management committee, with Qantas International CEO Tino La Spina to leave the group in light of what is likely to be the extended grounding of this part of the airline, effective 01-Sep-2020.
  • China Eastern Airlines announced the appointment of Zhou Qimin as CFO, succeeding VP and CFO Wu Yongliang.
  • Air New Zealand announced its chief commercial and chief customer officer Cam Wallace will step away from the airline on 30-Sep-2020, and will provide consultancy support to CEO Greg Foran until the end of 2020.
  • Japan Airlines VP and head of global sales for the Americas Steve Smith plans to retire at the end of Sep-2020.
  • Shenzhen Airlines appointed Wang Jie as president and deputy party secretary, succeeding Chen Zhiyong.
