Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International to temporarily waive landing fees for serving airlines

Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport CFO Greg Richardson said the airport is planning to temporarily waive landing fees for serving airlines and rent for concessionaires to expedite recovery from the economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic (Atlanta Journal-Constitution, 20-May-2021). Mr Richardson stated: "We are focused on retaining our competitive cost structure while providing encouragement to airlines both domestic and international to return and to increase frequency to [the airport]." Mr Richardson also confirmed the airport's personnel costs for the 2021 fiscal year are an estimated USD2.8 million over budget.
