Australia Govt provides USD25.5m in ‘Consumer Travel Support Program’ payments

    Australia‘s Minister for Trade, Tourism and Investment Dan Tehan stated (22-Jan-2021) Australia’s Government provided AUD33 million (USD25.5 million) in ‘Consumer Travel Support Program’ payments due to coronavirus. Mr Tehan said more than 800 travel agents have received payments since the programme opened in Dec-2020.
