Avelo Airlines opened (08-Apr-2021) ticket sales and plans to launch operations from Hollywood Burbank Airport on 28-Apr-2021. The carrier is backed by USD125 million in private equity and will initially operate single class 189 seat Boeing 737-800 aircraft. It will serve the following destinations from Burbank, which are currently unserved:
- Santa Rosa: Daily from 28-Apr-2021;
- Pasco: Three times weekly from 29-Apr-2021;
- Bozeman: Four times weekly from 30-Apr-2021;
- Phoenix Mesa: Daily from 03-May-2021;
- Ogden: Six times weekly from 04-May-2021;
- Grand Junction: Four times weekly from 09-May-2021;
- Medford: Four times weekly from 09-May-2021;
- Eugene: Four times weekly from 12-May-2021;
- Redmond: Three times weekly from 13-May-2021;
- Arcata Eureka: Four times weekly from 19-May-2021;
- Redding: Three times weekly from 20-May-2021.
