Avianca reportedly plans to commence charging for a second checked bag on certain international markets effective 01-May-2019 (El Nuevo Siglo, 13-Mar-2019). Economy passengers on routes from Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and Caribbean to Europe and US will have a 10kg carry on and one 23kg checked bag allowance.
