Berlin Brandenburg Airport urges German Government to grant more long haul air traffic rights

Flughafen Berlin Brandenburg (FBB), together with the Berlin Chamber of Commerce and Industry, urged (17-Jun-2021) Germany's Government to grant more long haul air traffic rights to Berlin Brandenburg Airport. The group projected one additional long haul connection has the potential to generate up to 250 additional company relationships. CEO Engelbert Lütke Daldrup said the airport is "ideally positioned to offer significantly more long haul connections". Berlin Brandenburg currently operates one direct long haul connection.
