Betong Airport due to be operational in Apr-2021

Betong Airport acting director Duangporn Suvanmanee stated the airport is due to be operational in Apr-2021 (Bangkok Post, 02-Mar-2021). Mr Suvanmanee added the Department of Airports has approved a request by Nok Air to launch daily services to and from Bangkok when it opens. Bangkok Airways is also planning to launch services to Betong from Phuket and Hat Yai. The airport was initially due to be operational in Dec-2020.
