Bitcoin Watch – Ripple surges and dives in a 24 hour period

Cryptocurrency Ripple has had an interesting 24 hours, surging almost 20% and leading all the currencies on percentage growth. The 20% growth meant Ripple grew from USD0.90 to USD1.08 before dropping back down to USD0.96. The surge has been attributed to predictions that Coinbase COO Asiff Hirji will announce the inclusion of Ripple to Coinbase tradable securities. Coinbase currently allows traders to trade four coins: Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Litecoin (LTC) and Bitcoin Cash (BCH).
