Australia's Bureau of Infrastructure, Transport and Regional Economics (BITRE) reported (18-Feb-2021) the following traffic highlights for Australian airports:

  • Passengers: 4.4 million, -69.6% year-on-year;
    • Domestic: 4.3 million, -58.6%;
    • International: 79,390, -98.0%;
  • Aircraft movements: 64,206, -48.0%;
    • Domestic: 60,030, -42.3%;
    • International: 4176, -78.4%;
• 12 months ended Dec-2020:
  • Passengers: 47.8 million, -70.9%;
    • Domestic: 38.5 million, -68.4%;
    • International: 9.3 million, -78.1%;
  • Aircraft movements: 641,613, -56.7%;
    • Domestic: 563,338, -55.7%;
