25 November, 2019

Budapest Ferenc Liszt International Airport CEO Dr Rolf Schnitzler reported infrastructure investments of up to EUR600 million are planned out to 2024 (airport-business.com, 21-Nov-2019). "If our growth story continues, and I have no doubt that it will, we will be coming to the limits of our capacity with the current infrastructure in the not too distant future", Dr Schnitzler said, adding developments "must keep pace with the passenger growth going forward, and appropriately-sized infrastructure is one of the most important elements of a positive passenger experience".
