Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) provided (21-May-2021) an update on safety and security measures implemented at Singapore Changi Airport in response to a new COVID-19 outbreak:
- From 20-May-2021, all arriving passengers from very high risk countries must undergo on arrival Antigen Rapid Tests (ART), on top of Polymerase Chain Reaction tests;
- From 23-May-2021, airport workers in higher risk roles will be required to take an additional ART between their seven day rostered routine tests.
CAAS added 19,000 workers have been tested for COVID-19 and 10 have tested positive. [more - original PR]
