Canadian PM: Government to certify provincial COVID-19 vaccine passports for international travel

    Canada‘s Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said his Liberal government plans to certify provincial COVID-19 vaccination passports for international travel use if re-elected (The Canadian Press, 03-Sep-2021). The move comes after Mr Trudeau’s recent announcement that the government plans to earmark CAD1 billion (USD797.5 million) for provinces to establish their own vaccine passport system for domestic travel.
