    China Eastern Airlines reported (31-Aug-2021) the following financial highlights for the six months ended 30-Jun-2021:

      • Passenger: CNY28,466 million (USD4.4 billion);
        • Domestic: CNY27,109 million (USD4.2 billion), +96.2%;
        • International: CNY1219 million (USD188.4 million), -80.3%;
        • Regional: CNY138 million (USD21.3 million), -57.3%;
      • Cargo and mail: CNY3945 million (USD609.6 million), +50.9%;
    • Operating costs: CNY39,652 million (USD6.1 billion), +22.1%;
      • Labour: CNY8945 million (USD1.4 billion), +15.6%;
      • Fuel: CNY9773 million (USD1.5 billion), +54.8%;
    • Operating profit (loss): (CNY7380 million) (USD1.1 billion), compared to a loss of CNY12,156 million in p-c-p;
    • Net profit (loss): (CNY5398 million) (USD834.2 million), compared to a loss of CNY9072 million in p-c-p;
    • Total assets: CNY290,924 million (USD45.0 billion);
    • Cash and cash equivalents: CNY15,560 million (USD2.4 billion);
    • Total liabilities: CNY238,634 million (USD36.9 billion).
