China Eastern Airlines marked (06-Jul-2018) its 20th year of operation between Shanghai and Okayama on 30-Jun-2018. The carrier noted the share of Chinese passengers on the route gradually increased over the years and currently stands at 40%. The number of Japanese passengers increased from 15,817 in 2016 to 16,497 in 2017. The carrier expects accumulated passengers on the route to exceed one million in 2018.
