Bitcoin Watch – Bitcoin tumbles but analysts stay positive

Bitcoin took a sharp tumble over the weekend, dropping almost 10% in 24 hours. In its entirety, it hasn't been a good week for the crypto either which has been gradually slipping. Bitcoin supporters were quick to defend the world's largest cryptocurrency, with Morgan Creek digital Co-Founder, Anthony Pompliano, stating in a tweet: "Bitcoin's compounded annual growth rate is $235% over almost a decade… The most valuable thin air in the world." At time of publishing Bitcoin sits at USD9,222, down from just above USD13,000 earlier in July.
