United Airlines to launch three services to Europe, expand and increase seven other frequencies

United Airlines announced (22-Aug-2019) plans to operate the following services:

  • Launch:
    • New York Newark-Nice: Daily with Boeing 767-300ER aircraft from 02-May-2020, subject to government approval;
    • New York Newark-Palermo: Daily from 20-May-2020, subject to government approval;
    • Chicago O'Hare-Zurich: Daily with 767-300ER from 28-Mar-2020;
  • Frequency increase:
    • New York Newark-Amsterdam: To twice daily with 767-300ER from 28-Mar-2020;
    • New York Newark-Frankfurt: To twice daily with 767-300ER from 28-Mar-2020;
  • Expanded service:
    • Denver-London: Expanded to year round with 787-8 aircraft from 01-Nov-2019, subject to government approval;
    • New York Newark-Athens: To resume from 08-May-2020, two weeks ahead of schedule;
    • New York Newark-Naples: To resume from 08-May-2020, two weeks ahead of schedule;
    • New York Newark-Porto: To resume from 28-Mar-2020, one month ahead of schedule;
