Corsair president and CEO Pascal de Izaguirre argued the carrier does not see itself in competition with carriers such as LEVEL and Norwegian on long haul routes (Europe1, 25-Sep-2019). He said Corsair will not get involved in an "endless race" for the lowest price, arguing low cost long haul is a "fragile" economic model and is "untenable" in the long term. Instead, the carrier will look to differentiate itself by establishing an aggressive quality/price offer to avoid the competitive challenges brought about through price sensitivity.
