Croatia Airlines CEO: Hub and spoke system ‘will survive’

    Croatia Airlines CEO Jasmin Bajić said he believes the hub and spoke system in Europe “will survive” (exyuaviation.com, 27-Jan-2021). He added that the carrier will continue to focus on maintaining routes from Croatia to major European hubs and take advantage of onward hub connectivity through its Star Alliance partners. “This is our strategy and it will remain unchanged”, Mr Bajić continued. The airline plans to suspend services from Zagreb to Sarajevo and Vienna during Feb-2021. The carrier will operate nine routes from Zagreb during Feb-2021, maintaining services to AmsterdamFrankfurt, London, BrusselsCopenhagenZurichParisSkopje and Rome via Split.
