Dominican Government to sign agreement with MMCE for construction of new airport on 09-Jun-2021

Dominica's Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit said (01-Jun-2021) the Government plans to sign an agreement with Montreal Management Consultants Establishment (MMCE) on 09-Jun-2021, to signal the start of construction of the new international airport in Wesley. The PM added the government will engage an international firm to assist the Ministry of Tourism in signing agreements with airlines after the agreement is signed. The government has also created an International Airport Development Company.
