Ecuatoriana Airlines plans to acquire Boeing 717-200s

Ecuatoriana Airlines, via its official Twitter account, announced (26-Apr-2021) it plans to acquire Boeing 717-200s for its "second phase of operations" (Simple Flying, 26-Apr-2021). The start-up airline said the 717-200 "fits perfectly with the geography of Ecuador and the region". As previously reported by CAPA, Ecuatoriana plans to acquire de Havilland Canada Dash 8 Q400 aircraft for its first phase of operations.
