Emirates Airline plans to resume Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane services following a temporary suspension of the routes on 20-Jan-2021 (Routes Online, 22-Jan-2021). Dubai-Sydney service will resume on 25-Jan-2021, Dubai-Melbourne service on 27-Jan-2021 and Dubai-Brisbane on 28-Jan-2021. The airline reported operational challenges due to "dynamic restrictions" and varying Australian state requirements, and said the suspension allowed for engagement with "various stakeholders regarding crew protocols and other operational details".
