EU could roll out 'Digital Green Certificate' by summer 2021

EU Justice Commissioner Didier Reynders said the European Commission's 'Digital Green Certificate', requiring a COVID-19 vaccine/testing certificate for travel around Europe, could be introduced during summer 2021 (Reuters, 13-Apr-2021). Mr Reynders said the desire it to give "citizens and member states a tool that provides the necessary trust and confidence" in a tool that "competent authorities can rely on wherever needed to facilitate free movement".
