EUROCONTROL: Europe's high frequency long haul routes down by 69% since start of COVID-19

EUROCONTROL reported (16-Mar-2021) the number of long haul airport pairs with at least one return flight per week declined by 21%, from 1147 to 910, between Feb-2019 and Feb-2021. However, the number of "high-frequency" (three or more return services per day) long haul routes has been cut from 61 to 19 over the same period, a decline of 69%. [more - original PR]
