Finland to require negative COVID-19 tests from high risk countries

Finnair announced (08-Jan-2021) the Finnish health authority has decided that all passengers arriving in Helsinki-Vantaa Airport from countries which have restrictions on entry to Finland will be subject to COVID-19 tests from 08-Jan-2021. Passengers are not required to test if they have one of the following:

  • A transfer flight from one international flight to another international;
  • A negative COVID-19 test taken less than 72 hours before arrival in Finland;
  • A COVID-19 vaccination certificate;
  • A doctor's certificate confirming the traveller has had COVID-19 within the last six months. [more - original PR]
