Entreprises du Voyage (EdV) president Jean-Pierre Mas reported French travel agencies could lose up to 80%, or EUR20 billion, of their revenue in 2020 (air-journal.fr, 26-Dec-2020). Mr Mas noted that French citizens are currently travelling "three to four times less often" due to the COVID-19 pandemic. He said that he is "not very optimistic for 2021", adding: "For the business travel sector, we expect that 2019 levels will not return until 2024 or 2025... for the tourism sector, it will depend on the potential for global travel".
