Federal Association of the German Aviation Industry (BDL), the Federation of German Industries (BDI) and the Federal Association of the German Aviation and Space Industry (BDLI) issued a joint media statement calling for a "step by step" restart of air traffic in Germany and an end to the "patchwork of approaches" to travel across Europe, which is "hindering the restart of the economy" (dpa/Handelsblatt, 31-May-2021).
