CAPA: Gol guts capacity and builds up liquidity to weather the COVID-19 pandemic

CAPA - Centre for Aviation, in a report entitled: 'COVID 19: Brazil's GOL remains bullish on the 737 MAX', stated (12-May-2020) the carrier is taking all the necessary steps to weather the COVID-19 crisis, including gutting its capacity and building up liquidity. The carrier is also reassessing its fleet opting to cancel 34 of its Boeing 737 MAX deliveries, reducing the total number of MAX in GOL's order book from 129 to 95, split between 73 of the -8 model and 22 of the -10.
