Gold Coast Airport handled (20-Oct-2020) 526,599 fewer passengers in Sep-2020, down 96% year-on-year. Queensland Airports Limited CEO Chris Mills said Gold Coast Airport had been hard hit by travel restrictions, given the reliance on the leisure market and importance of connections to Sydney and Melbourne.
