Guatemala's director general of civil aviation Francis Aguirre, via his personal Twitter account, announced (06-Sep-2020) the resumption of domestic and international operations effective 18-Sep-2020. Mr Aguirre stated: "Aviation is a macroeconomic engine for Guatemala… We are very excited to see the first international aircraft land".
