Hamburg Airport CEO Michael Eggenschwiler reported negotiations with airlines are underway concerning increases in airport charges (aero.de, 05-Jan-2019). The airport reportedly plans to increase fees per passenger by EUR 55 cents. "Aircraft have become both larger and fuller in recent years", Mr Eggenschwiler said, adding check in processing and clearance will be tighter.
